SUNDAY

Precept: A Study of 2 Peter

Studying the Bible is about more than head knowledge; it’s about life-changing relationship with God. With Precept, you can experience the power of God’s Word for yourself and get the training and guidance you need to lead others through Scripture.

Join us for a 6-week study, led by Diane Sparrow, on 2 Peter, beginning on Sunday, October 16th at 5pm in the Large Group Room in the Kid’s Building. Cost of the study book is $14.00.

TUESDAY

Storyline
Date: 2nd & 4th Tuesday beginning 8/23 (12 weeks)
Time: 9:30 – 11am

Ladies, you are invited to join us for Storyline – a time of connection, fun and growing together in Christ. This group is designed to connect and support other women while learning about how to be a part of the story God is writing for us. This group meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month and will begin on Tuesday, August 25th at 9:30 am in the Large Group Room in the Kid’s Building.

World Religions
Date: 10/11 (6 weeks)
Time: 6:30-8:00pm

Format: In Person Only (Bldg 2 Large Group)

In this 6-week study we’re looking at the major religious systems in the world, and understanding how they try to answer the deep needs of the human heart. The study begins on Tuesday, October 11th from 6:30-8:00pm in the Large Group Room in the Kids Building.

WEDNESDAY

Starting Point
Date: 8/31 (8 weeks)
Time: 6:30-8:00pm
Teacher: Matt Dial & Jay Mudd
Format: In Person Only (Bld 2 Living Room)
Whether you’re new to Christianity, or looking to grow in Christ, a strong foundation is essential to your relationship with God.  Starting Point is a discussion-based look at the claims of Christianity.  This is a great class for those who are curious, questioning, or just getting started. The class will meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 pm beginning on August 31st.

Let Us Pray
Date: 9/7 (5 weeks)
Time: 6:30-8:00pm
Leader: Pastor Brian Hammond
Format: In Person Only (Bldg 2 Large Group)
What can we learn from Jesus about how prayer works?  What is it for?  What does it mean when God doesn’t give an answer to our prayers?  Pastor Brian leads this 5-week study on Wednesday nights, 6:30-8:00pm in the kids building, beginning on September 7th.

Men’s Zoom Bible Study
Date: 8/3 (Ongoing)
Time: 6:30-7:30pm
Leader: Robert Gilliland
Format: Zoom Online Only
Pastor Robert leads this online Bible study group for men.  You can jump in any Wednesday evening, although you’ll get the most benefit from consistently participating in the study. Zoom link will be sent after registration.

THURSDAY

Emotionally Healthy Relationships
Date: 9/22 (8 weeks)
Time: 6:30-8:00pm
Teacher:Cesar Perez and Daisy Taylor
Format: In Person Only (Bld 2)
In the Emotionally Healthy Relationships Course, you will learn 8 practical relationship skills to develop mature, loving relationships with others such as:

  • Stop Mind Reading and Clarify Expectations
  • Incarnational Listening
  • Climb the Ladder of Integrity
  • Clean Fighting

And since loving others and loving God cannot be separated, each person will also grow in their personal, first-hand relationship with Jesus by incorporating stillness, silence, and Scripture as daily life rhythms.

We encourage individuals and couples to join us on this 8-week journey that will forever change the way you love God, others, and yourself.

The cost of the registration will cover the books and materials that will be provided to you. There will be no childcare.

FRIDAY

Men’s SoulCon Challenge
Date: 10/14 (6 weeks)
Time: 6:30-8:00pm
Leader: Ian Thurber
Format: In Person Only (Bldg 2 Living Room)
This 6-week men’s challenge will help you bring unity between your physical discipline and spiritual growth.  Combining fitness, diet, prayer, and brotherhood, you’ll be pushed to embrace sacrifice as part of growing in Christ. Join us on Friday evenings beginning on October 14th from 6:30 – 8:30 PM in the “Living Room” in the Kids Building.
