At The Church at South Lake, we believe that we are stronger together. Scripture reminds us that community and going deeper into God’s word are foundational in growing relationship with Christ. We have different types that are meant for you to connect with others and dive into God’s word to find an even more meaningful walk with Christ.
At their core, life groups are casual gatherings of 8-12 people, typically meeting at a group members home, for the purpose of growing together and learning how to love God, love others and live with purpose. But to those who have experienced the benefits of a life group, they are so much more. Life groups are a place to know and be known, love and be loved, serve and be served. We have women’s groups, men’s groups, singles groups, couples groups and groups that are open to anyone (general groups). Most of these are divided by the overall stage of life of the group members. Every group has a unique feel and personality and finding the right one for you can be life changing. To find out more or to join a life group click the button below.
Learning Groups are a great way to dive deeper into God’s word. Many of these groups have different subject matter that will challenge, grow and inspire you to a more meaningful relationship with God. To learn more about these groups click the button below.
We also understand that during this season that we are in, some may not feel comfortable meeting in person or would like to get a taste of what a life group might look like without necessarily committing. We have developed something called a “Virtual Group.” The Virtual Group is a non-committal, low risk group that allows you to be in community online. Connecting Groups are a great way to meet people from different walks of life.
