Alaska Trip – Echo Ranch

Juneau, Alaska
June 20 – 28, 2020

This team is looking for adults that are skilled in construction labor and a few for corporate worship assistance. We are assisting in building a new staff house for the bible camp. Team members must be able to walk on uneven terrain and be in good physical health.

To participate:

  • Make payment installments starting with a deposit to CASL by March 1st – $400
    • April 1st – $400
    • May 1st  – $400
    • June 1st – $300
      Total = $1,500 (covers travel, food, and lodging)
  • Attend pre-trip meeting on May 31

Travel consists flying by air from MCO airport to JNU airport followed by a boat shuttle then a van shuttle

Arizona Trip – Light In The Desert Church

Mesa, Arizona
July 25 – August 1, 2020

This team is looking for several adults and teens qualified to implement a children’s camp. You will help run a summer camp program and community outreach.

Team Leads: Gabe Girdner, CASL Children’s Director and Pastor Bryan Jerry of Light in the Desert Church.

To participate

  • Complete trip application
  • Make payment installments starting with a deposit to CASL by April 30th – $500
    • May 28  – $500
    • June 30 – $400
      Total = $1,400
  • Possess valid ID for air travel (passport or driver’s license)
  • Attend pre-trip meeting on March 29

Travel consists of flying by air from MCO airport to PHX airport. Rental cars will be used for local transport.

Schedule
Saturday:   Arrive in Phoenix and settle in
Sunday:     Attend service at LitD Church, meet the congregation, set up and run a community kick-off event
Mon-Thu:  Service projects in the morning, prep for camp in the afternoon, and make camp amazing each night
Friday:       Sightseeing in the beautiful AZ desert
Saturday:  Travel home

Lodging Arrangements
-Vacation homes 3 to 4 bedrooms each
-Basic breakfast items are provided (cereal, milk, coffee, eggs). Lunch will be simple meals, included in your trip price, and dinner is provided by families from LitD Church as a service to our team. If you have special dietary needs, you will be responsible for your own meals (and your trip price adjusted accordingly).

 

Bahama Trip – Island Outreach

Man of War Cay, Bahama Islands
May 1 – May 7, 2020 (Tentative date based on supply arrival)

This team is looking for men skilled in construction labor to help repair a church facility devastated by Hurricane Dorian.

Team Lead: Randy Crowe – Island Outreach, Director

To participate:

  • Complete trip application
  • Make a one-time payment of $300 to CASL for travel costs by April 5
  • Possess a current US Passport (valid at least until Nov 2020)
  • Attend pre-trip meeting on April 5

Travel consists of flying by air with Missionary Flights out of Ft. Pierce International to Leonard M Thompson International airport. From there, a van shuttle to Marsh Harbor followed by a boat ferry to Man of War Cay.

-Generator power from 6-9a and 6-9 p only
-Vacation homes 2 to 3 bedrooms max

Boston Trip – Milestone Church

Natick, MA
September 11 – 14, 2020

This team is looking for adults and young adults (16-18yrs) to engage in community outreach during the annual Natick Days Community Festival on Saturday. They will also assist Milestone church with their 4th Anniversary Celebration on Sunday.

To participate:

  • Make payment installments starting with a deposit to CASL by May 17 of $400
    • August 1 – $300
      Total = $700 (covers travel, food, and lodging)
  • Attend pre-trip meeting on May 17

Travel consists of flying from Orlando to Boston followed by a van shuttle to Natick, MA.
